The Someday House at Tims Ford Lake

Welcome to The Someday House, your home away from home on the beautiful Tims Ford Lake. Located on a private wooded lot, with a covered front porch, 2 large rear decks, your own private dock, boat slip, this lake house getaway is everything you have ever wanted. A private boardwalk leads the way to the lake. Just minutes from Twin Creeks Marina and Winchester TN, the location is perfect. WiFi, ROKU/TV, board games, kayaks, plentiful parking and privacy.
Large, open living area connects to an eat in kitchen. Kitchen boasts plenty of countertop and cabinet space complete with all brand new kitchen appliances, dish-ware, cookware and silverware. Main floor contains 2 bedrooms. Bedroom 1 is a 'bunk-room' with 2 twin beds. Bedroom 2 is a large bedroom with a queen bed and sofa chair as well as a large closet. These rooms share a full bathroom with a stand up shower. Upstairs is the 'King's' suite. a large bedroom with a king size bed, sofa chair, walk in closet and an in-suite full bathroom. In the basement you find a finished living space with a gaming table for cards, board games etc. + an air hockey table. There is also unfinished space in the garage/basement at the rear of the home that offers ample storage space and overflow.
You will receive a private and unique code upon booking that allows entry to the front door. Ample parking for 6+ vehicles or 4 vehicles and 2 boats/trailers. Home is accessed from a private drive off of Chestnut Court. Also the property has lake access from a private dock.
Bring your own boat or rent one! Home has a private dock with a boat slip. Be sure to bring your fishing poles as well as the cove is packed with bass, bream, crappie and catfish. Winchester and Decherd, the 2 closest towns, offer plenty of shopping, grocery and dining options. We encourage you to shop locally and support the local community.

This place was very nice and clean. The linens and towels were fresh. The ice maker actually worked. The area was peaceful and just minutes from downtown and steps to the water. The property manager was very helpful and understanding. We were not able to make our first reservation in August but the he was able to schedule us for this past weekend. Plus he would check with you the night you checked in to see if everything was as expected. The next morning he checked again to see if everything was still good. We are definitely looking forward to returning in the future.

The Someday House is spacious and well kept. The owner, Grant, is easily accessible and very responsive. The property is private, and convenient to lots of the area’s activities. We had a 5-star stay and will be coming back.

Christmas on the lake
My family of 5 spent Christmas at the Someday Lake House. The host was so easy to work with! Very accommodating and thorough instructions. Responded quickly to any questions upon arrival and had even set up a beautiful Christmas tree for us to enjoy. The house was extremely clean, well stocked and has an open floor plan for family to enjoy together. Would most definitely recommend and will be no doubt be staying again!

Fun Times!
Our stay at the Someday House was excellent. If you are looking for a quiet cove with deep water, then this is a great choice. We rented a pontoon and jet ski and used the dock to tie up when we wanted to get lunch, etc. Negatives: Some people with limited mobility may not like the boardwalk down to the lake, but the kids loved it. Also, the stairs are somewhat steep up to the master bedroom. And there is no lake view, but overall, we loved the privacy offered by the house and had an amazing experience. We would rent again!

We really enjoyed someday house! It was a nice get away with family and enjoyed the upscale decor and cleanliness. Relaxing to sit outside in the quiet, private, wooded lot. The owners did a great job on providing accomodations for their guests and we look forward to returning.
