27 Skiptory Howe is a modern, centrally heated 2 bedroom well-appointed spacious lodge which sleeps 4/5* people. * there is a small fold-up foam chair bed that would be suitable for a child. The lodge has a comfortably appointed spacious lounge, kitchen and dining area. The kitchen has a built-in fridge freezer, oven and hob and a microwave. Master bedroom has a kingsize double bed and ensuite bathroom (shower) and twin bedded room and family bathroom (bath with shower). Large wraparound (2 sides) decking area ideal for relaxing on sunloungers (4 supplied) and for dining al-fresco. (gas bbq supplied). 40 inch, wall-mounted Samsung TV, dvd player and Bose CD and radio and separate bluetooth sound system.

Heart of Lake District
The property had everything we needed, including a deck and BBQ. The resort had a shop, pool, bar and restaurant but we tended to walk and tour all day and eat at the house which had a fully equipped kitchen.

Windermere Weekend
Just returned home from three nights at this lovely lodge. Located in a quiet part of a large site, it is well maintained and immaculately clean. We were blessed with excellent weather and as an added bonus got a display of the Northern Lights. Everything you need is at this lodge, just add food and some wine and you will have a great time. Would not hesitate to book again.

I stayed here with my parents and 2 year old daughter for 3 nights and it was perfect. Perfect lodge in a perfect location. I would highly recommend this property, it was clean with everything you needed, and the communication with owners was great and they were very helpful. I will definitely be returning in the future 🙂

fully equipped lodge near to Windermere
we had a wonderful week at the lodge : everything you need to cook is there,the fridge is big there are 2 bathrooms which is easy one with shower one with bath there is a good Bose music installation with plenty of CD's the weather was outstanding so we could sit outside to enjoy our drinks you can easily visit most places in the Lake District from the lodge we truly recommend this lodge Ludo and Christine from Belgium

We really enjoyed our stay in the lodge. The communication with the owners was great - efficient and informative. The property was very clean, well equipped, warm, cosy. One thing to note, as the owner had warned us in advance, the internet connection isn't great. Thank you for a great stay.

Lodge by the lakes
A lovely lodge 2 bathrooms always handy tv's in both bedrooms as well as lounge everything you need in the kitchen and a dish washer. Table and chairs on deck so you can eat outsude. Right near the lakes lovely walks in all directions spa shop attached to petrol garage just up the road. Did'nt have to go far for anything.

Over all stay was nice. Cleanliness behind twin beds was not good making for an uncomfortable sleep. slight smell of dampness all round and signs of black mould in the main bedroom.

This property was absolutely stunning and we will definitely return in the future. The presentation of the lodge is beautiful. Inside has a cosy comfortable feel and is very spacious. Very clean and well kept lodge, the outdoor area is also excellent and very spacious. The hosts communication was fantastic. The site itself was a beautiful setting and the amenities were great. Entertainment for the children was excellent and the bar/food was great. Swimming pool was lovely (extra cost for passes at reception). Only a short drive into Windermere. Would definitely recommend this property, excellent value and would love to stay with you again in the future. Many thanks for a wonderful stay in the Lake District.

Pre Christmas Break
We came away for our wedding anniversary and brought our daughter with us aswell who is 22. We just wanted to chill out, relax and unwind before the mayhem of christmas brings, and this fabulous lodge went above and beyond to deliver that. It is situated in woodland behind it and all you can hear is silence....apartbfrom birds and a lovely owl hooting despite others around you. The lodge was massive yet cozy and warm. Bedrooms were very spacious and bathrooms were fabulous. The bath is divine to relax in with some bubbles and a good book! Roger and Hazel were fab hosts and provided fab info and left a folder with notes and subtle decos for xmas. Fab hosts. Will defo be back. Fab park to be on too, small but has everything you need. Will defo be back.

A notch above in White Cross Bay
We rented this lodge to meet other family members who rented their lodges through Park Dean. This lodge was by far the nicest of the 4 our family rented.. It was larger than the other lodges and fitted out to a higher standard. The bedrooms and living areas were much bigger. This lodge is set above the road so you don't have the lack of privacy like the other lodges. This lodge has great heating and we kept warm despite it being December.. The lodge has a large deck which would be nice in summer. The lodge was clean and nice bed linens and towels were provided. The owner was easy to deal with. This lodge is not pet friendly which we didn't need. If you don't need pet friendly we would recommend this lodge to people wishing to stay in White Cross Bay

Luxury Lodge
What an amazing lodge this is. Pros:- Very spacious. Clean. Everything you need in the kitchen. Spacious bedrooms and bathrooms. Very spacious wraparound deck. WiFi excellent. Cons:- On a large holiday park. We had an amazing time here at this lodge. Directions to the lodge were spot on and access was easy. The lodge was very clean and huge. Both bedrooms and bathrooms were very spacious and nicely furnished. The kitchen has everything you could need. The sitting room was large and comfortable with a large screen TV. The WiFi worked perfectly and we were able use our fire stick seamlessly. Mobile signal was also great. The only slight downside is it is on a large holiday park so the lodges are quite close together, when sitting on the decking you could hear others around you. However inside the lodge there was no noise at all. In all we couldn't fault this lodge it has everything you need and more, it is the best holiday accommodation we have stayed in.

Great location for exploring the Lakes
The lodge is brilliantly located to explore the Lake District. Most of the top spots to see are just a short drive away. The lodge itself is clean and comfortable and has a spacious open plan living area to relax in. The large decking area is also a nice spot for alfresco dining. However, the lodges are closely packed together in this holiday park, which is a shame. I hadn’t quite appreciated this from the description and photos. The kitchen is ‘well equipped’ as per the description, but the pans and bakeware are losing their non-stick coating. The lack of dishwasher wasn’t an issue as the cutlery, glasses and crockery were spotless. However, I presume you may be dependant on the cleaners to check all the kitchenware or else the previous guests to be good washer-uppers! Overall, we enjoyed our stay. It’s great as a base if you’re out all day exploring and want somewhere homely and comfortable to relax, eat and sleep.
