We had one little issue that our bathroom window wouldnt open, and it was fixed in an instant after asking. "This well cared for property is a big house divided into several units. If you don’t mind interacting with other travelers/vacationers….and hearing everything they do, “Trela Sands” is a decent home base for exploring Eleuthera. While clean and well-appointed, we found the 1 bedroom front unit claustrophobic and not private. It’s too bad the second floor of the house isn’t the part with more units, think we may have had a different experience on the top floor. Not for a romantic getaway. Good...

"I am originally from The Bahamas and spent every Easter as a child in Rock Sound with my grandparents. My wife and I decided to spend Easter this year with my family. The property is full of history, having been part of the Rock Sound Club started by Arthur Vining Davis. Karen has done an absolutely remarkable job renovating this part of the property - everything from the flooring to the landscaping, interior design...it was all so clean and looked new. AC in the rooms, fridge, good water...
