This hillside house was very comfortable, featured a lovely terrace surrounded by grapevines. Situated in the small country village of Sauerthal if felt as though our visit brought the most excitement the townsfolk had seen in ages. "Great communication with a friendly host. Check in was easy, including a thorough walk through of the unit. New and modern apartment that was in perfect condition. Easy access to house and our apartment with a key. Short walk to Magdalenenhof Weingut (good restaurant and vinothek). 20 minute walk to tourist area and boat/train stations. It's in a quieter residential area uphill from St Goar train station so quite a steep walk if you don't have a car. Steffi the owner was really helpful and friendly and picked me up from the train station with my cases and offered to take me to places like supermarkets for food. A really great place to stay.
