"The remoteness is not in anyway a comment on the great hospitality experienced front the entire Mercure staff. This was my home away from home for almost 4weeks and I greatly enjoyed my stay. The room was a key reason for selecting; the hotel over a closer I is offering; very spacious with a huge wardrobe, big bathroom and walk in shower. The room also had a sink, cups (only recommendation is to include washing liquid) kettle, cutlery and a microwave, (however inline with the notices, probably not a good idea to use the. Microwave unless truly desperate) . The remoteness I referred to has a knock on impact that it's a long way to the nearest station plus you will need to factor in travel costs to and from the hotel. If you don't mi do the occasional walk like myself it's a nice 35 minute stroll in good sunshine. Overall, I greatly enjoyed my Mercure Hotel experience. "

"Excellent hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Room was very comfortable. Great bed. Shower wasn't powerful but did the trick. Room had all of the amenities. Plenty to see and do within walking distance and train station nearby. Will definitely stay there again, just not until the noisy construction is finished. "
