The property itself is huge. Overall it was nice

I was staying at another hotel that was not the nicest /safest area so I decided to leave that site and came to Westgate lakes. My initial interaction with front desk was pleasant. The property is beautiful, my friend had a studio apt and I had 1 bedroom suite. She had a much nicer view of the lake and close to the pools and village area. My location was not as nice and I wished I chose a studio for the better location. The bed was not comfortable, causing my back to act up. Most of the things were minor inconveniences except the bed. However on my last night there I was very disappointed in the service of this hotel. I had unfortunately caught either a stomach bug or food poisoning. I was extremely ill. I called the concierge desk to see if anyone could help me to extend my stay one day because I was suppose to get on a plane at 11 am. I was told I had to physically come up to the front desk to check on this. I explained I was violently ill and I didn’t think I could even drive up there ( my building was like a 1/2-1 mile walk to the front . They told me there was nothing they could do for me on the phone. I had to wait several hours until I could get to a point where I wouldn’t vomit and had to go to the front desk at 4 am to extend my stay. The ladies were very nice but come on, this is when customer service matters! I shouldn’t have to go to a desk in this situation and this day and age. Poor policies
