"What ever they are paying the caretaker it is too much. Premium price and so many issues, weird things like the towels don’t match, sheets all wrinkled, fridge all duct taped together you just don’t expect for that price. Dust everywhere, paint scraped off walls everywhere, someone’s clothes behind the door… bins not emptied. Beautiful old house being left to ruin."

"When you book a low cost room in a country town there are few expectations, however from the first moment the experience was first class. "When you book a low cost room in a country town there are few expectations, however from the first moment the experience was first class. The staff were friendly and down to earth, and the check-in was an absolute breeze. The room was clean, the bathroom spotless (great water pressure and HOT shower) and the bed was comfortable. As the staff/owners move about the was always a smile for guests and an acknowledgment from them and all the way through to check-out the whole experience was well above my expectations. The property is right on the exit from the bypass at the south end (watch the entry, it is a little tricky). - supermarket and other shops are less than 2 minutes drive. Making it very convenient. If you are visiting Scone and intend to stay overnight or longer, this IS the place to stay. Thanks so much, I’ll be back soon :) , "

"Stayed one night, convenient location. Checkin easy, Stayed in Room 14 with parking outside the room. Room is clean, spacious & has a comfortable bed. The shower has excellent hot water & pressure although the bathroom could do with some updates. The rooms not sound proof, could hear the shower & toilet flushing in the next room. Not an issue for me but maybe something the owners could look into. Overall a pleasant stay. "
