"We loved the location, and it's was fun to visit with the animals. Wish we were able to sample some of the chicken eggs. There is a bit of deferred maintenance, some water damage in the kitchen. Would also have been great if there was a hair dryer available, especially as the weather gets colder. All in all a fun stay at a farm with a great location."

"We gathered for Thanksgiving and the house was perfect. Comfortable beds and bedding and a huge space to all be together. The fire pit and yard games were so much fun. We walked around the beautiful property and went into Charlottesville for the day. Great location would highly recommend. "

"The property was absolutely breathtaking! I would book again based on the views and grounds alone! The main floor of the house only had a bathroom on the other side of the master bedroom, if you are planning a trip with multiple families this can get frustrating. The basement had ping pong, which the kids loved and the hot tub was easy to refill and use! "We loved this house and its historic charm. Everything you could possibly need was provided, including firewood and really yummy coffee from a local coffee crafter. The location can’t be beat, literally right across the road from Devils Backbone and if you’re doing the 151 brewery and winery thing, this is your spot!"

"We really enjoyed our stay Host Scott was very informative and has very clear information. The house is very family friendly. We loved being able to use the fireplace. The hot tub was spectacular my wife usually never likes Hot Tubs but used this one twice. Kids loved the indoor basketball hoops and pac-man . My wife grew up with pac-man so she really loved it.
