This wonderful house from the 1800s has lots of character, and it even comes with its own micro-museum! The ample amenities are thoughtfully updated and immaculately clean. All the appliances (kitchen, laundry, tv, cable etc.) worked properly, including the superauto espresso machine. The beds were comfortable, with pristine bedding.
The property manager was very friendly and helpful.
We enjoyed the waterfront garden with view of the river from the provided outdoor seating. On a cool night we used the wood burning stove in the living room with some of the provided firewood for some cozy warmth. The house boasts a small library that includes children's books. There are some board games and some children's dvds. Aside from the living/dining room and kitchen, there is a sort of hall/bonus room with additional table and chairs, and rocking chair. Upstairs, too, there is additional space at the top of the stairs, outside the bedrooms, with a desk/vanity and a reading nook with a comfortable chair. These extra spaces truly make this location suitable for 6 people to comfortable live and lounge in.
As a side note: this property may not be ideal for people with mobility issues. Parking is available, but not right in front of the property. Even though downstairs there is a bedroom and a toilet, the bathroom is upstairs. In addition, the downstairs floors have many level changes (step up or down) between rooms.
