Our lakefront Little Landing Cottage is everything a Maine cottage would have with all modern luxuries. It boasts all comfortable accommodations whether you are sitting on the couch, or lying in one of the two queen sized beds in the loft. Completely equipped with a full sized kitchen and full sized dining table as well as a washer and dryer, you will have everything that you need to enjoy your stay without ever having to leave the comfort of this lakefront property!

The Space:
This lakefront Cottage is everything that you need for your home away from home. Perfectly set on the shores of Cobbossee Lake in Winthrop, Maine, this cottage will be sure to leave you with precious memories and a feeling of rest and relaxation. Quiet and intimate this property is perfect for couples, small families, and close friends looking to spend some time on the lake and by the firepit. Be sure to listen for the loons in the mornings while having a cup of coffee or grilling on the grill in the evenings on the vast deck outside overlooking the lake.

As you walk into the cottage you are greeted by an open living space. You will first walk into the living room with a couch and two comfortable sitting chairs. This is the perfect space to relax and look out the window at the peaceful views of the lake! Right behind you is the kitchen which is perfectly set up with the cutest dining room table and is perfectly equipped for anything that you would need for cooking your own meals. It even has a keurig which is hard wired to the water so you never have to replace the reservoir of water before making a cup of coffee! Directly through the kitchen is the full bathroom which includes a full bath as well as the washer and dryer which is included in the space. Around the corner you will find the stairs to the loft. The loft is a quaint, cozy, little space. It is just big enough to fit two queen sized beds, a small nightstand, and a bench under the window overlooking the grounds and the lake which is a perfect spot for reading a book and relaxing! The stairs to the loft have a short clearance overhead and once you reach the top, it is an A framed space. The basketball players of the world would not fit well in this loft. If you are extremely tall, you may find it a bit of a tight squeeze. Most individuals will have a tough time standing completely straight unless you are standing in the “A” peak of the room. The peak gives you the ability to comfortably get to your bed and lie down as well as look out the window toward the lake and cove. The cottage comes with both heat and air conditioning to ensure you are always comfortable no matter the time of the year. It has two mini split units one on each floor as well as monitor heating for the colder months. There is plenty to do all year round especially in Maine on the lake! Fishing is a hobby us Mainers enjoy in all weather and we hope that our guests' take part in some of our year round traditions!

While you are here, feel free to walk the property, sit by the firepit, enjoy the conoes and kayaks we have available and also feel free to bring your own boat or rent one nearby and dock it on the property's personal dock! We hope that you will feel right at home in the cozy Maine lakefront cottage! If you need anything we are always available for our guests! We cannot wait to host you!

Guest Access:
Complete access to fire pit,Kayaks,canoe, BBQ grill, boat dock and of curse the lake, A wonderful fishing spot as well as recreational boating,jet skiing,swimming or snowmobiling and ice-skating in the winter time. Year ‘round there is always an abundance of activities to participate in here at the LittLe Landing Cottage.

The Neighborhood:
We are lucky to be a part of Winthrop, Maine! There are so many charming local shops and eateries nearby in downtown Winthrop. We are down the road from one of the most famous ice cream shoppes in Maine, Fielders Choice! If you are new to Maine or new to this area, we definitely recommend! The theater at Monmouth is always a great family outing if you happen to be visiting when a production is playing! We are close to Hannaford (a local grocery store) in downtown Winthrop as well as in Augusta as well!

Here at the cottage, our quaint neighborhood is quiet and serene. You will find more noise made by the loons than anything else! The quiet dirt road let’s guests walk around and look at the surroundings. Feel free to adventure as best as you can in this very small neighborhood! The local neighbors are all friendly and welcoming.

Getting Around:
The Cottage is right on the cove of Cobbossee Lake. There is a public boat landing minutes away and docking access at the Little Landing Cottage. There is also a Marina within walking distance that has a local bakery serving sandwiches, convenience items, and baked goods as well as the White Duck Restaurant and Pub which is a two minute walk from the cottage.

Other Things to Note:
There is a $195 pet fee. Please be kind and let us know beforehand if you plan to bring your pet. Pets are always welcome as we know first hand that they are a part of a family unit!

We also ask that our guests always pick up after their pets both indoors and outdoors. This includes keeping pets off the furniture as well.
