"HIGHLY recommended! The cabins are comfortable and neat. All bedding, towels and toiletries are provided (although consider taking your own pillow if you have particular needs). The bakery next door is just lovely, although it closes at 3pm. Bacon and eggs for breakfast was delicious! The birds are lovely and friendly! Charlie the cockatoo says "hello Charlie" and then puts his head down for you to give him scratches. Ernie the galah wiggles around so you can pat the soft feathers on his back. The property is a quick, easy drive from Laura where there is a pub, grocery store, etc. It's a lovely part of the country, and your visit will be a relaxing getaway (you may or may not be able to connect to the internet via your mobile data). Don't forget the aeroguard for the flies!"

"Bathrobes. And good ones on a regional run what a treat. I left Ellen Hotel feeling rested. Modern rooms, improved air conditioning since the last time I stayed. Dark and quiet for a good night sleep. Service friendly, the lady who served served me at breakfast made me want to linger alas I had to move on for work. "
