"This quaint old world weatherboard cottage was charming and unique with its original paintings by a recognised WA artist. Being set in the middle of farming land allowed us to view all the beautiful local birdlife and the Aurora Australis at night. Our UK grandchildren were charmed by all the birdlife as well as the local roos and emus in the neighbouring paddocks. The cottage was well stocked and basics were provided. Being small there wasnt really any room for us to put our own provisions....

"The property was quiet and peaceful. A muddy water spa bath is hard to pass off as full of soothing minerals. Furniture was past its best and water pressure nonexistant. I would give it a 5 out of 10"

"Lovely little Settler's Cottage about 10 minutes from Margaret River. Well equipped. Lots of space for the dogs. Close to main farmhouse so privacy could be an issue, and no fence separating properties the busy road, but area is very well maintained."

"The cottage was clean, cozy and well equipped in nice location. Booked this cottage as it was advertised as 2 bathrooms. Very disappointed that advertising did not advise that 2nd bathroom was shower and toilet outside with only cold water available. "

"Lovely attention to detail including,beautiful arrangements of wild flowers from the garden, exquisite bed linen, rich ground coffee and olive oil. We relaxed by the fire and enjoyed sitting outside watching all the different birds enjoying the garden. The Forrest setting was so serene and peaceful. "
