"Great location for le shuttle!"

"Very well-maintained older-era hotel in very quiet seafront location away from noisy attractions. Only stayed in one of smaller rooms, but it was very comfortable, nicely furnished and very well presented/cleaned. Slept superbly well! Excellent pool in-house and 9h golf course next door. "

"Very clean, staff were very polite. Only one thing I think is the shower which was over the bath did not have a handrail or rubber mat! My wife & I are in our late seventies and thought without these items it was quite slippery & dangerous! Other than that very pleased."

"What a treasure Rye has with The George. Extremely well located, about a 10 minute walk (albeit some uphill) from the station parking, a lovely old building that's in good condition. We went at low season so Rye was quiet (great for us, albeit some businesses were closed for staff vacations...not a problem), and very walkable. We enjoyed several small pubs which felt very cosy and welcoming in the cooler nights. Strongly recommended. "
