Experience the hands-on exhibits in the Natural Disasters display. It contains the powerful Hurricane Shack, which produces high-speed winds along with heavy rain. Make use of the large Google Earth map to see structures across the planet. Keep your hand in the icy cold water that replicates the conditions in the North Atlantic Ocean, where the Titanic sank in 1912.
Test yourself to the extreme in the Physical Challenge Zone. Lie on a bed of nails, launch yourself into the plastic pins of the Wonder Wall and create huge bubbles. The highlight is Mindball, where you compete using the power of your mind. Enjoy the dynamic and exciting displays in the Light & Sound Zone and learn about the universe in Space Discovery.
Bring the little ones to the Imagination Lab, where they can use colored sticks to make pictures on the wall. Try to make sense of the riddles and optical illusions in the Far Out Gallery. Another of the highpoints is the Spacewalk Challenge, featuring a glow-in-the-dark ropes course. Play Laser Tag with friends and be stimulated in the 6-D Extreme Motion Theater. Venture outdoors for the Soar + Explore Zipline & Ropes Course.

Wonderworks is a little inland in the northern part of Myrtle Beach. Take a bus from the Myrtle Beach Transfer Center to the amusement park in 15 minutes. Consider driving and park for free at Broadway at the Beach. Visit nearby sights, including Broadway Grand Prix, Myrtle Waves Water Park and Pavilion Park.
