"The resort is in a central area for Mission Beach so was easy to get everywhere. Close to the beach and groceries. The unit was spacious and clean with a full kitchen and patio. Nice pool and covered seating area. Internet was spotty in our suite as it is built cyclone proof but it was fine by reception. "

"My husband and I really enjoyed staying in this place. It was even nicer than the photos and so well supplied. The people that run the place thought of everything you could ever possibly need. I had bought some things to cook and realised that I didn’t have any oil and there it was. This happened time and time again, where you would be looking for something and there it is and in ample supply. The hosts really ensure you have everything. It was also really clean too which was very important to us. I will definitely stay here again if I am ever in Mission Beach. "

"Basic but comfortable. Kitchen adequate for simple meals. We found it quite central to the area and found plenty of walks and some quite good restaurants Appreciated quick response when we needed some blankets and that it was a quiet area. Had a good holiday."

"We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the “Gecko”. We were so happy to be able to bring our Cavoodle with us for our short stay & he was well catered for. Each of the cottages are fully fenced which makes it easy for pets to play outside. The cottage was very comfortable & fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. The location was fabulous with the beach just across the road. Highly recommend Cassawong Cottages."
