"First of all they gave us the wrong number for the lock box. But even standing at the front door the standard of the property was revealing its self to us. The out door area in the pictures looked fresh and clean. The space when we arrived was littered with garden waste and foliage . The timber seat was rotten. Once inside the smell hit us coming from the back bedroom it was a body odour smell very smelly and dark and dingy. We did not feel comfortable staying at all. So we contacted the host...

"It was a lovely, clean and private cabin with a new aircon. It's conveniently located. The only problem was that the place had a lot of kind of weird medium sized cockroaches. We killed about 6 adults and about 20 tiny ones. I wouldn't stay again unless this issue is dealt with. I meant to mention it at the end of the trip but forgot. "

"We had a fantastic time, perfect for 4 adults and kids, lots of space and the pool was a hit for our 6, 10 & 12 year old. The trolley was very helpful getting to the beach every day. Dicky beach is beautiful with a nice small row of shops nearby. Everything was perfect other than the beds weren't made even though linen is provided and no hand soap provided. The keys to the house are in Caloundra which wasn't ideal either. Otherwise I would have given all 5 stars.. thanks for a fantastic stay "
