"The Stay was good , parking was okay , the shower was very very hot and took a bit to adjust as taps were quite sensitive. Bed was a bit uncomfortable. Room was clean and tidy, bathroom was lovely in our queen room. Bar area was nice, really like the fireplaces. Staff were lovely and helpful. A big old Hotel with charm. "

"Friendly hosts showed us around their property and animals. Comfortable beds, well equiped private area. We had our little dog and it was dog friendly with own enclosed yard area. Toilet/bathroom downstairs. Highly recommend as a quiet get away or to break a trip up."

"Very cosy and it feels homey with beach vibes. Just a walk away from the beach. The beach has some amazing views of the mountains on one side and the beach on the other."

"Villa was very clean and tidy. Well equipped and nicely decorated. Quiet and private with separate access. Nice yard area and garden and fully fenced for fur babies. Hosts were friendly and helpful and checkin was easy and everything was ready for our arrival. Property is very close to parks, playgrounds, beach. Overall a lovely option for a stay in Illawarra."

"Bit disappointment for the stay. The studio is small, the sofa bed is very uncomfortable. Can’t open curtains as there are people stay at the back of house kept walking pass. There is no privacy. It is a garage converted to studio, not proper walls, just glass window with curtain. It is overpriced for what it is. We only stay there because we have a dog. There are maintenance need to be done. Looks like the owner just keep everything cheap but charge premium price."

"We had a wonderful stay at Shutters by the Sea. The room was spacious and beautifully furnished. The view out the sliding doors was spectacular and you could hear the little blowhole! A stocked fridge was very welcome!"

"Great location…but with the “trick” photography of the back lawn butting onto the back yard was very disappointing. In actual fact it was a steep decline to the waters edge (especially for a 74 and 80 year old couple)…better photography should be presented to those wishing to stay at Curleys regarding the backyard scenario. Other than that ……not a problem, however we were flooded at the driveway level…and that is a problem with Mother Nature I guess."
