Independent in Woodvale

"It’s our first time staying at Duxton hotel. The service is courteous and professional. Staff is friendly and easy to talk to. The room is very clean and comfortable. The only area for improvement would be the tv entertainment option. Foxtel is full of commercials and no good shows to watch. Swimming pool is okay but unfortunately not much effort putting in to make it more eye pleasing. Sauna is warm but not hot. Other than that, pretty happy with the stay. "

"Did not like the pool hours in the morning 9am open, unable to use prior to work or booking out. Pool area looked very good unfortunately open hours prevented use. Nice location to airport and eateries "

"The only issue that I have with this property is the very limited reception hours. Reception closes at 12, but check in isn’t until 14.00. Make sure that you check your emails carefully as you will need instructions for late check in even if arriving at 14.00. The front doors will be locked so you will need to navigate your way in via the car park and back door. Appartments are spacious and clean (once you are in!), and red CAT service stops very close by. $250 bond needed which is worth...
