"What a great find! If you're OK with a drive thru the mountains, this is the place for you. The property is beautiful, the main lodge is old and rustic but so charming. The owners are wonderful. They acquired the lodge less than a year ago and have plans to upgrade/update as they go along so you must look past some of the 'broken' things but it's clean and open and we would absolutely stay there again. Ginger even made us fresh waffles in the morning, which was an unexpected bonus. Can't beat the views and the relatively 'inexpensive' cost for what you get. We hope to return and see what kind of progress they've made in the future. Highly recommend."

"This was a perfect place for us to stay for our daughter’s wedding in Ararat, NC. We were able to totally relax here! The cabin was extremely clean and well decorated, right down to the cabinet knobs! The hot tub was wonderful and worker perfectly! The view from the porch swing was stunning and we drank our coffee there every morning. We totally enjoyed our visit and hope to return for a longer stay!"
