La Petite Ferme
4.0 star property
6.8 out of 10, 5 reviews
"This was one of the nicest places we’ve ever stayed. It was scenic, top service, amazing meals and in a great location. The most important part was the staff. They are the most welcoming, kind and considerate staff. I had a bit of a stomach flu and the entire staff was going out of their way to help me. They made me ginger tea and the chef made me chicken soup. It was so nice. I highly recommend this property and Franshhoek as a place to visit. "

"Wow this place is just amazing the only downside we only had one night we did look to extending while there. We had a three bedroom villa it was huge and our own pool which was a bit cold. The food was amazing it has two restaurants one of which caters for children and will cook what you want, We loved the fact you could go for lunch and the chef comes out and cooks what you want that’s what you call service. Werner and all the staff are very friendly and made our stay so memorable. Will...

"Upon arrival we realized this is not a farm but a little small holding. All units less than 15 feet from each other. A Large Barn is also right opposite the cottages where workers are staying. Drawers in kitchen not in good condition, small stove in a terrible condition. Dead ants in the cupboard. The Sunday morning the workers who stay in the barn opposite the cottages were painting and playing terrible and very loud music. This was not a nice Sunday morning on a farm. "The reception was great but the facility is not well-looked after. The rooms were not so clean and the swimming pool was green. The breakfast was below standard and that is being generous. The Milk that was left out for porridge was sour. For the monies paid, I expected more."
