"We really had a lovely stay. The cabin has such a great communal space with plenty of room for the 9 of us while still providing privacy in the bedrooms and downstairs area. Our host was very easy to communicate with and everything worked well. The setting, with the gorgeous lake right outside and the little park areas was of course stunning. "We had a really wonderful stay at this cabin! It was spacious, cozy, and had more than enough room for our group of 7 to spread out and enjoy a relaxing getaway. The setting was beautiful and peaceful, and the home was well-equipped with everything we needed.Communication with both the owner and property manager was smooth and responsive, which we really appreciated, especially when we had to make the unexpected decision to leave a couple of days early due to heavy smoke from nearby fires. They were kind and understanding, and we were grateful to receive a refund for the last two nights.A couple of small things to note: we did find a few dirty dishes that hadn’t been cleaned properly, and the hot tub could have used a bit more attention. These were minor issues in an otherwise lovely stay, and didn’t overshadow the great time we had.Thank you for sharing your space with us. We’d definitely love to return in the future!"

"My family was very happy with our stay at the Elk House. I understand why this location has such high reviews. The home was spotlessly clean, comfortable, attractive, and was in a quiet, relaxing location. I wish that we had seen elk during our stay, but it was still nice to sit on the front porch to enjoy the view. (Be forewarned that the large field surrounding has many slugs lying in the damp grass in the early morning.)There is a master bedroom on the main floor that has a queen bed. There is an open loft upstairs that had a queen bed and a twin day bed. The day bed also had a hideaway bed underneath that could be pulled out for a second twin bed. I had brought pots and pans for cooking which was unnecessary as the kitchen was very well supplied with anything we would need to fix and serve meals. We would love to return to stay at the Elk House again. Thanks! "

"Perfect for our family get-away. The proximity and access to private parks made the days fun. For dinner, we used their outdoor grill and Blackstone griddle instead of the kitchen stove and loved it. We all fit around the large table for the meals. And there was an area to play card and board games, which were provided.Thank you"
