"This is a great place right on the canal. The master bed is so comfy. Jeff provides everything you need for a great and relaxing trip. We've stayed 3 times and already booked for our next trip. There is nothing like the clear water on the canal,and a nice lawn to sut and enjoy."

"We came to do a little hiking around Lake Cushman, and this cabin was the perfect place to stay! Close to several trails, easy to locate, warm and cozy, and more spacious than I expected. We’d love to come back in the warmer months and take advantage of the golf course and nearby kayak rentals. Such a lovely little home and area! "

"We loved staying here. They’ve got all the pots pans salt pepper and Cajun seasonings as well as sauces. For checking in the check list was a huge process and I wasn’t sure and am still not sure if I was supposed to fill that or the cleaning people. I wish there was more of an explanation there. I’m also not fond of having to check and make sure the cleaners did everything right. Not my job. But all in all, good experience"

"We enjoyed our stay at the Elk House and would come back again. It’s a great house and such a peaceful area. We didn’t see any elk, sadly, but enjoyed spending mornings and evenings on the porch. The WiFi worked great, and we were able to stream on the TV. The house is in a great area - easy drives to Lake Quinault, hiking, and more! The “grocery stores” near by are small so if you’re coming from a larger area it may be worth bringing groceries with you. A few things to note for future guests - there is a keurig but no kcups were provided so bring your own; same goes for coffee pot/coffee. We couldn’t figure out the air conditioning and there were no instructions to be found; it wasn’t that warm so I didn’t feel the need to reach out to the hosts about it, but something to note if you’ll be going in peak summer time. We hope to visit the area again in the future and would love to stay at Elk House again! "
