Findon is home to a traditional Sheep Fair and Village Festival, which is held at Nepcote in September. Walk part of the 100-mile South Downs Way with historic woodlands where you can smell the intoxicating scent of the bluebells in the spring. Look out for roe deer and red kites, and you may even be lucky enough to see hares boxing. Paragliding, hang gliding, golf, zorbing, mountain boarding and water sports are all available nearby. The coastal town of Worthing, where you can stroll along the promenade or the award-winning pier, is 5 miles away.
