"The listing here doesn't mention that these are essentially student dorms. Nothing wrong with that at all and these are really well priced and quite nice dorms at that. Given these house students, you can see some hard miles on the property but maintenance is kept up. It's a very good budget stay and reasonably close to some restaurants and shopping. It's not terribly close to the main beach (~8 minutes by bike, ~25-30 minutes walk). I wouldn't rule it out for future stays."

The hotel is very well kept. The room was spacious, simple but well maintained and comfortable. Das Haus ist klein, aber zweckmäßig, die überdachte Terrasse einladend, der voll umzäunte Garten ein Hundetraum. Die Matratzen sind ein wenig älter und sehr weich, für jemand, der sehr hohe Ansprüche an Reinlichkeit und Ausstattung hat werden es ein paar Spinnweben zu viel sein. Wir haben hier eine herrliche Woche...

Logement soigné, bien équipé et spacieux pour 6 personnes. Les étages sont bien isolés du rez-de-chaussé. Stationnement aisé et gratuit. "We booked our trip the day before as a last minute break. Sabine is a wonderful host who made us feel very welcome and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. The gite is very close to the Belgian border and we visited several historic sites as well as a brewery tour. Would highly recommend as a base for anyone wishing to explore Passchendale, Ypres and other WW1 places of interest. Thank you Sabine, we very much enjoyed our stay."

"We only have 5+ remarks for our stay! The host was terrific...nice and very responsive. The property is an oasis of beautifully manicured nature. It is a large piece of property that is secure, private and well taken care of. It was like camp for the children between being able to safely roam freely, ride provided bikes, utilize the pool/climbing structure/trampoline and more! The house is fantastic and really well built. Lots of great open space with wonderful natural light and huge windows....

"The house is facing the water, with a small garden at the back. Parking is plentiful. It’s really quiet but a free boat crosses the water for about 6 hours a day… there are lots of bars / restaurants on the other side. The house is beautiful - 5 bedrooms, with the top floor having 5 single beds with an en-suite shower and toilet. All rooms were large and comfortable. A good kitchen with everything you’d need for a stay. Lovely dining room/ lounge. Would really recommend for a family."
