Spectacular Farmhouse!
The farmhouse was what dreams are made of - we loved its character. Clean and well equipped (although more than the 1 tea towel supplied would have been useful). Beds were very comfortable (and fun to get on if you’re only 5’ tall… quite high!), bedding and towels were lovely and fresh. It didn’t take long to get used to the quaintly laid out kitchen😉 Garden was fantastic… great pool, good sturdy garden furniture (particularly loved the huge swing seat) and an abundance of lizards and a few geckos keeping us company over breakfast. We were unfortunate to have a group of very loud lads arrive next door in the middle of our 2 week break, so didn’t spend as much time in the garden during their week stay, but made the most of it again when they left! Worth venturing up to the roof to watch the bats and stargaze too. The farmhouse is brilliantly located. We hired a car and pretty much saw all the island over our fortnight. Loads of sights to see (we enjoyed all the ones recommended in the guest book Krishna sends out). There is a bakery making biscuits almost directly opposite Ta’Krishna - the smells are delicious (and you can buy the end results from Noel’s Supermarket - just a couple of minutes walk from the farmhouse). We ate out several times, but our absolute favourite was The Tal Furna Bar and Restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious, but the people and atmosphere were what made us go back - don’t leave without visiting (reservation seemed essential).

Beautiful villa!
This was our 6th time in Gozo, and our first time staying in Ta'Krishna. Its definitely one of best ones we've stayed in. It has a quaint and quickly layout. (which took a day or so to get use to!) And a lovely outside area The bedrooms where spacious and the mattresses we're comfortable (although the pillows not so much!) Also all the onsuites where clean and finished to a high standard. The owner had great communication and could do enough to help us! Great stay in a great villa, we will definitely be back in the future!

Ta Krishna is an absolutely beautiful house which is quaint, charming and full of character, we just loved it! On arrival we explored the house with the kind of excitement of childhood, there's so much more to the house than expected from the photos. We thoroughly enjoyed the house, pool and garden during our stay along with many outings to explore parts of the island we hadn't seen before. Communication with the owner Krishna was excellent and the few queries we had for the management

Third Time Lucky
After covid spoilt our holiday plans for two consecutive years, we finally made it to this impressive holiday home (website photos spot on). The owner, Krishna, is very helpful and was happy to accommodate our date change requests. He also provided comprehensive information prior to our departure from the UK, which was very useful. We travelled to the island via the Fast Ferry from Valletta, which is a comfortable 45 minute trip. We chose not to hire a car and as a group of four opted to travel by taxi (rather than use the weekly bus tickets) in order to explore the island. We can highly recommend downloading the BOLT App, which allows you to book a taxi from any location, normally arriving within a few minutes (longest wait was 15 minutes). The only negative for us was that there were lots of jellyfish in the sea - one of our party was quite badly stung, so when visiting beaches please remember to check which flags are flying - you don't want to see a purple one, as this means "biting animals in sea." The central square in Xaghra offers a good selection of restaurants - our favourite evening meal was at Oleander and we enjoyed a number of brunches at Cafe Reale, which is only open during the day - their homemade cakes are very hard to resist! If you enjoy seafood we would definitely recommend a trip to Marsalform, where there is a good choice of waterfront restaurants - remember to check fresh fish prices before ordering. Finally, a big shout out for Noel's store - turn left when exiting the farmhouse and you will see it just across the next road. All basics available at reasonable prices. You will also smell cakes and biscuits being baked across the road - they are happy for you to ring the bell and make a direct purchase - we opted for almond biscuits and chocolate cake. If you want a relaxing quiet holiday then Ta Krishna/Gozo is definitely the place to be.

Lovely Summer Stay
We were blown away by the charm of this property. It was great to explore when we first arrived, and spent time in all of the rooms (and pool) during our stay. Plenty of provisions in the kitchen, and al fresco dining. The family were here for a wedding. It's a 15 min walk to the town square, but download the "Bolt" app for taxi's, it's worth it. Noel's Shop stocks all you need, and there are daily mobile shops stopping outside the house (listen for the horns). We had a very enjoyable stay in a this beautiful house. Thanks Krishna.

The owner is very responsive and helps you in any way he can. The local management company could improve but all in all a very good experience. The fhouse is a little gem hidden away in an alley. All comforts available.

Cosy winter retreat in Gozo
We had a lovely time at the farmhouse. We lit the log burner most evenings as it was cold at night and it was so cosy non of us wanted to move. Beautiful pool and garden, lots of little quirky rooms which the children loved exploring. Very well equipped and nice and clean. Lots of hot water and the pressure was very good. We would stay there again without a doubt. Loved it

An amazing farmhouse

Lovely farmhouse
We had a lovely time at Ta Krishna, communication from Krishna was very good. The farmhouse is just as described and bigger than what we thought. Very clean and well equipped kitchen. It is in a good location for local shops and not too far from the beach. We didn't hire a car, we found it easy enough to use the bus, bus stop is only a two minute walk away. The only fault we found was the garden furniture was very worn and the cushions very stained, would recommend updating them,maybe waterproof cushions so you don't get so many cat hairs on them. There is a very freindly cat which we fed everyday. All in all I would reccomend this farmhouse and would return.

Lovely but in need of some TLC
We enjoyed our stay in the farmhouse it is very quirky and spacious rustic in taste of furniture(we usually prefer modern) and has a great pool and garden but the outdoor furniture is so filthy and stained it put us off relaxing there even with towels down or sitting out for meals.The house lacks TLC and this shows in a few areas which is a shame as it could be beautiful.We found some great places around Gozo to explore and will return...…. to this farmhouse...….would love to if improvements were made.

A fantastic home from home
The photos of the farmhouse really reflect the feeling you get as soon as you arrive. It’s wonderfully rustic, cavernous and full of character. It has something to offer those of all ages, but for us, with 3 and 4 year olds it was an ideal balance - plenty of space, plenty to keep little ones occupied and plenty to do and see all within quite short journeys. The kids loved the pool and all the inflatables to play with, and we loved the convenience of the local area - nothing is far away! Getting around Gozo by car is easy and there was more than enough to fill our 2-week stay. Krishna and the property management team were wonderful and always really responsive if we ever had any queries. All in all, a great base to explore this fascinating island!

Beautiful villa but furnishings desperately need updating
Beautiful building and lovely big pool. The location is great and a nice walk into the village with lots of choice of good restaurants. What let’s the farmhouse down is the furnishings. The garden furniture is old, with broken arms, not adjustable and poor cushions. The living room sofas are in poor condition and covered with some grubby throws. The dishwasher was rusty, smelly and filthy. I did try and use it once but it didn’t wash anything. If these were replaced this would be a perfect property however at the moment they are letting the building down.

Excellent facilities very well equipped though garden furniture is a bit run down.
Nice setting , Gozo is much more rural than Malta therefore ideal for those who like to get away from it all. Plenty of good restaurants however if you do not wish to cater for yourself. Great cliff top walks and fantastic views around the island.

Fantastic holiday!
Thank you so much, Krishna, for letting us stay at your amazing farmhouse. It certainly lives up to the photos and we enjoyed staying there immensely. We are a family of four and there was so much space - the property has such interesting characteristics (e.g spiral staircase, external staircase within the enclosed inner courtyard, four poster beds etc). It could easily have accommodated another couple of people. We had planned on staying in Gozo, but visiting Malta too - however, we loved Gozo so much we stayed there the whole week and only visited Valetta on the way back to the airport. There was certainly enough to see (and more) for a week on Gozo. We found the recommendations you provided in the welcome booklet very useful - thank you. Our teenage children liked the wifi and the full package of TV/film/sports packages available. The showers were hot and powerful, which was great. Thank you for the welcome food package and you (and the agent) were really fantastic at communicating and quickly sorting out any questions we had. Many thanks again x

Lovely house with lots of character.
We enjoyed our holiday in Gozo very much. Xaghra is a charming village with lots of places to eat and drink and plenty going on in the square, especially in the run up to the festa. The house is full of character and has a lovely garden area and pool. The welcome pack was much appreciated. We hope to return again one day.

Absolutely amazing house
Very nice old house with love for the details. The gardes is also great and all stuff you need is available. You get help by the owner and the agent if needed. Perfect stay. The house is little cold in february, but there is a fireplace in the livingroom, which does good work. Rest of the rooms are little heatable by the air conditioner. I guess between march and december it is "very" perfect, in january and february just perfect ;-) Thanks a lot! Probably coming back again soon.
