Quiet Location
We chose this property because my daughters were having a soccer tournament nearby. I needed enough beds for 5 people, which this provided. However, I chose this house particularly because it said it had a washer and dryer in the description. (There wasn't a washer and dryer on the property.) The manager said, sorry it must have been a computer-generated description.) He said, we could get a little refund for our troubles, but we haven't seen anything. The house is old and evidently used to be vacant, as the stickers are still over the doorway. The inside was decorated modern and lovely; however, none of the bedroom doors actually shut, and the bathtub didn't drain well when used. The kitchen is tiny and not a lot of room to make meals, but we managed. The dining table only has 4 chairs, even though the house said it sleeps up to 6 people. We ended up using our big cooler as a 5th seat. The space and location were great for what we needed. Just wanted to be honest with this review for those looking into this house. Plus, there was a stray orange and white cat that came to the porch every day, which was a huge highlight for my kids.

Great place to use for bike rides
I stayed at this cute little house with my husband, brother and sister-in-law. We wanted to do 2 days of biking. This house is VERY close to the Xenia Station in Xenia, Ohio that has a convergence of multiple bike trails. So it would be perfect if you needed a stopping place along one of those trails or if like us, you just wanted multiple choices for some long rides. The house is older and has some quirkiness because of that, but the host has done a fantastic job of decorating and making it comfortable. Plenty of parking available in the driveway.

Peaceful getaway with lots of beds
This was a nice getaway with girlfriends and we enjoyed the cleanliness of the house and the decorations. A big plus for this place was that it has a lot of beds, so we were able to have our own and really enjoyed that. Also the community was quiet and the blinds were thick. I even found my favorite white noise machine in my room, which was an added bonus. We did note that the grass had not been mowed in some time and weeds were growing up in the flower beds and even in the porch tiles. The host was responsive in his communication ahead of time but a couple of things were confusing. One was we received a message that if we wanted to change our check in to earlier just let them know. So I requested that, and received a response that they "always book back to back" so that would not be possible. The second one was when I asked what kind of coffee maker was there and if coffee was available for it or if we should bring our own, he said there is some but if we wanted something in particular he would bring it. I thought that was generous, so I asked my friends but they said just so there's regular and decaf, they'd be happy. So I communicated that but when we got there, could only find regular, so asked the host about that and he said they only have specialty coffees during the holidays and the rest of the time it's just standard. So anyway, we enjoyed our stay but it didn't feel particularly welcoming when I tried to follow up on any of extras offered to us.

Adorable bungalow
We had rented the bungalow to visit with family in Beavercreek. We were able to communicate easily with the property manager about all of our unique needs. The bungalow was very cute and well appointed. Will definitely use the house again for future family visits!

Super cute, great location
We stayed for 3 nights to be close to yellow springs and the bike trail with our girls aged 4 and 2 and we had a great time. The house is very cute and had mostly what we needed. I will say there were definitely a few issues that came up that required the attention of the property manager. Firstly there was a discrepancy between check in time on my booking summary versus the house rules which was not a big deal to us at all, but the property manager was quite defensive and dismissive when I was simply bringing this to his attention so as to prevent in the future. In addition when we arrived the second floor was extremely hot. They did drop off fans that night and agreed to bring an AC unit the following morning. However when we returned from our morning adventure they still had not installed it and it was again sweltering up there (too hot for my 2 year old to nap). We had to call to request this get done (which it did, thankfully!). I did send along that the kitchen was lacking some essentials-toaster, any type of bakeware for the oven, cutting board or knives. I had to cut my toddlers apple with a butter knife. So hopefully these will be addressed. Also there is no washer and dryer despite this being in the property description. Not a dealbreaker for us, I was simply letting him know this was in the description for future renters benefit and I was again met with extreme defensiveness. Overall we enjoyed our stay despite the lack of cordiality.

Nice bungalow and close to places
We only needed this spot for one night while we visited the parks around Yellow Springs. Spacious spot (what a great dining room table!). We only needed one bedroom, but there's plenty of room for a larger group. Short drive to nice dining and, again, not long to get to the Yellow Springs area.
