"The Block House exceeded expectations. The staff was so friendly, it felt like staying at a dear friend’s house, a really nice house, like the house from Parasite. Every morning, the staff prepared a beautiful western breakfast and every afternoon, tea and cake. On our last day, we had to leave early and the staff prepared our breakfast ‘to go’ and placed it in our fridge. One of the best overnight experiences we’ve had due to the attentiveness of the service."

"Really lovely family run, the family was very friendly and helpful. All the activities and bike rentals etc can be booked at the accommodation. Everything within walking distance. The evenings are really popular and huge crowds turn up for all the street food and outlets. Highly recommended for anyone to experience local culture, fun activities and food."

"The property is half way to the top of the mountain, so about an hour's driving from Jiaye. The suite we stay has two bedrooms, a shared washroom with two bidet toilets and a large shower. It also has a large living room and an open tea room that can be converted into a bed room. The suite is clean and very comfortable to stay for a family. The staffs were very friendly. One of the attractions of Alisan is sunrise, you can enjoy a cup of Alisan's green tea in their lounge at the sixth floor....

"Great stay, our room has a balcony overlooking the lake that was stunning. It's about 15 minutes to walk to the bus station or pier area where the dining options are. The room was large and bed and shower were great. The family that runs the place are very nice even picked us and and took us back to the bus station. At night it's very peaceful and tucked away from the crowds. Highly recommend this property."
