We really liked the pool however it isn’t fenced which would have been good to know in advance. There is a local vineyard, restaurant and a supermarket nearby. "The gite was very well equipped and comfortable. Probably one of the best we have stayed in over many years. The surrounding countryside is variable, with flat plains , hills and lakes. If you are interested in Ww1 the preserved trenches in the area are the best I have seen. Verdun and Nancy, which are a short drive away, are both historical and picturesque."

"I would love to give it 5 stars but due to the fact that the heat was not working was really bad specially when you are with an infant with you I literally had put his jacket on in the middle of the night because the room was freezing mind you we had a small heater on but in vain. I wish we had been informed of this situation before we arrived in order to weight our options or not. But besides that the receptionist was very nice and helpful to us during our stay."

A Stay in France’s Countryside.

"The building of course is someone’s home as are many B&Bs. It can improve its initial impression which is the entrance and tidy up the place in the lobby and dining area. No complaints on the room other than a bit too many chairs. Less is sometime better allowing more room to move around. The bathroom was above standard. Overall, it is definitely worth the price. Just know it is in a small village several miles from Verdun where you can find more place to eat. It is definitely out in the country. In addition , the hosts were very friendly and tried hard to make our stay pleasant and comfortable. "
