"I'd never stayed in a ryokan before, but have always heard what it was like. I can confidently say, after being in this one, that ryokans are an exceptional place to relax. Location is not great. While it's just across the road from Shimonoseki strait coastline, access to the shoreline is very limited by industrial areas. "The property is clean and the space is large. The only bad thing about this place is the check-in procedures. Since there is no staff in the building, your only way to access is by the email sent by the property owner. The email arrive at 6pm on the day I check-in, after I reach out many time and through email, their offical website and Expedia. Take your risk when consider this place. "

"This place doesn't look like much from the outside, but it exceeds expectations. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the food was exciting and delicious, and the decor was creative with plants, travel information, and themes of Okinawa. Great for young or independent travelers who like a taste of multiculturalism. My parents in their late 50s also loved it and found it entertaining. Note: the bathroom facilities were a little rugged, if that's important to you."
