Right next to the sea, our room had a super outlook, south-east facing. Very good food in the restaurants and prices for drinks unexpectedly well-priced. Staff were so friendly and it was a battle to develop our Spanish as their English was so good. Being a 10-minute stroll to the marina was a real bonus offering up a plethora of bars and restaurants. Definitely not a loud or wild area for the youth to enjoy - peaceful and tranquil for all!

Plenty of staff but service was always slow property very dated and poorly maintained rooms were old and worn buffet food was below parr restaurant food was excellent drinks on all inclusive were very basic and i had to pay extra for normal drinks it was supposed to be 5* but it was scraping to be 4* i will not go again

It is a nice enough resort and the staff is very friendly and kind. Food was great too. We wouldn't stay there again as the average age felt rather high. Just not resort people after all.

Underwhelming and slightly dissapointing stay. When we arrived, we enquired about a room upgrade and were advised it would be €300 per person, per night for the room (which is outrageous). Very little options in the world cafe for breakfast and dinner, even less for vegetarians, even less again with the cross contamination that occurs. The spa area requires a pass to access, inwhich you need to pay for before you have any treatments, this was extremely disappointing as this was not advised prior to booking. On a positive note, the resort is very nice, a good selection of pools and sun loungers. The exterior of the property takes you to the sea and a short walk to a marina, that gives you access to shopping and a large number of resturants. Wouldn't visit again.

Fabulous location within 10 min walk of restaurants and bars at the harbour. Has its own tennis and padel courts. Good evening entertainment and fabulous breakfast buffet. Staff are extremely helpful and friendly.

The all inclusive package is excellent. It’s a true all inclusive, not just a selection of crap that nobody wants. It’s a real saver… I haven’t spent anything extra in two weeks and I’ve been fine dining most evenings.

The staff was excellent. Very friendly and accomodating. I was hoping to experience a signature scent upon entering the property as i have experienced at other Secrets locations. There was none however.

Overall we had a lovely week staying at the Secrets Lanzarote Resort. We award a 5* for the staff, especially Macarena, Head of Customer Experience, for her professionalism, approachability, and all round efforts to make our stay go well. Any disappointment we felt was more around the island itself, which doesn't offer a great deal for the visitor who doesn't want to sit by the pool all day every day. But we were saved by having hired a car and we explored what little there is on the island. Secrets is a 4 * hotel which is comfortable and welcoming and a relaxing place to be.

A lovely hotel, good location with a great spa! Beds were huge and big TV, quiet resort, buffet food was great with lovely presentation. Staff really friendly. Definitely recommend the spa. Close walking distance to the marina with a market on Tuesdays and Fridays. Gym was open 24hrs and had good selection of equipment. There are many free workshops (sushi making, macrame, cocktails, plants) and yoga/archery classes which were brilliant - we really enjoyed them! Some downsides were that free drinks were sometimes given upon entry to the restaurants for the first three days, then it stopped and not sure why. Unfortunately an item of my clothing was stolen from the women’s changing room so don’t go in with anything other than your swimwear and robe as very few lockers available if any. Our bench at the end of our bed was taken away also after the third day too, which was random. We had a problem with a drilling and hammering noise at 3am and after two nights of this we asked the hotel to investigate and thankfully they offered us to move rooms which was appreciated, but the staff were not sure what was causing the noise. Overall, enjoyed our stay but there are a couple of things that could be improved to make it a full 5 star experience.

Lovely location and great property, we had a wonderful stay. My two main bits of feedback: it was unclear that going as “Preferred” unlocks a few extras for All Inclusive customers when booking through Expedia - it’s not just a difference in room! And, the service from staff was alright but not excellent or ‘5 star’, for example, once our food and drink order was taken and we were served our meal, that was it for staff interaction until a dessert menu was offered (and even then, only on some occasions, others we left after 20 minutes of empty plates at our table). Glasses were always left empty by staff, refills or additional drinks orders were not offered and no checks were made during our meal about the food or our dining experience. I acknowledge this is particularly fussy, but should be expected for a resort marking itself as 5 stars! Adjust the price and the rating and then I would adjust my expectations!

On the whole an enjoyable trip. Cleanliness and service very good . Room comfortable ,well positioned, but a long walk with nearest lift out of action. Suroundings/gardens pleasent , too many steps and some surfaces rough uneven/cracked, not easy for disable/wheelchair users.
