There are some resturants around the hotel (even McDonald's for those fussy little eaters :)) If you travel by train from Kansai airport using Nankai rapit express or the Nankai line via Namba, there are lift or escalators for all the stations that you need to change trains to get to the hotel. "We stayed at a near by hotel for a couples days first and extended our Osaka trip staying at Monterey. We wished we booked here from the beginning!! Nice set up, spacious room. We loved their pillows! Cute decors too. West Exit of Osaka Station from Subways was a little confusing but we got used to it. 7 Eleven was by JR station and one near by. Easy walking distance to a lot of restaurants and Umeda area for shopping and transportation. This will be our hotel for Osaka stay!! "
