The Neighborhood:
Yanakie is the Gateway to Wilsons Prom, so what better location to host your holiday.
There is a General Store close by, a shell service station to fuel up, and a local lisenced Pizza hotspot to host you for a bite after a long day hiking. If you want a bit more selection, surrounding towns have pubs and wineries open for enjoyment!
Travel 30mins up the track to Foster, with the pub and cafes, or over to Fish Creek, which has the iconic Fishy hotel, Alison Lester store or Long John Pickles - a local favourite.
Grab a great bite from the Meeniyan Hotel, Trulli's pizzeria or the coffee shops as one of your stops on the way down South.
Wherever you find yourself in your travels in our area, there is lots to see. Your support to the local area is always well recieved!
Getting Around:
There is no public transport in the area so having a car is essential for your adventures!
Other Things to Note:
Due to the closure of the Gippsland Power Stations, during peak times (i.e. the middle of summer) we are prone to power blackouts. Mobile phone coverage can also be poor, travellers are advised to use Telstra for the best coverage in our area. This is unfortunately completely out of our control.
Each property is on tank water and septic systems.
Please note: There will be a call out charge if we are called out after hours. Eg: Losing Keys.
