"Nice pool and hot tub. Room clean. Weren't told anything about on internet, room book or TV. Breakfast was ok, but not super. We had a squeaky bathroom fan that could not be turned off. "

Good: spotlessly clean, excellent service, friendly staff, updated bathroom fixtures and floor, updated microwave, refrigerator, and TV, water park access included - nice small pool and play area for children, hot tub! Not so good: older facility with very dated furniture and carpet. All indirect lighting in the room - had to turn on all 8 lights individually and each had a different kind of switch (pull chain, push button, rotate knob), room was still kind of dark. Located in a tiny town, GPS indicated the nearest grocery store was half an hour away, just one restaurant nearby - Ope Haus - good food, bad service."

"Our room was awesome stayed in the casino Royale room. It had a great tub with lots of room around it. The view from our room was a little snow covered woods. The shower showed signs of age but was clean. The man at the front desk was very nice. The breakfast was good. Not a lot of grab and go options but the hot food was good. the building itself is very unique and interesting has a huge indoor fireplace. The pool and hot tub were a little rough but clean And we still had a great time in both."

"A group of us meet up a few days each year to relax and unwind from the hustle and bustle of life. We've been doing this since 2000! This year we chose Jolene and Tony's villa because it had enough bedrooms and is tucked away off the beaten path. Upon arrival, Jolene gave us a quick tour, which was helpful. When you walk into the home you immediately notice all of the repurposed barn wood. There is nothing old about the home though. It's got all the modern amenities you'd expect like zoned AC, a full kitchen, gas grill, fire pit, wraparound porch, Wi-Fi and 3 bathrooms. I don't remember reading about a working farm but there is a chicken coup, ducks and dogs on the property. There is also a cabin that can be rented separately so other people may be on property too. While it is private, we did have several cars come down the driveway and then turn around. Overall, we had zero problems. If you're looking for an alternative to staying in Galena, consider the Villa. Check in and Check out was a breeze and we appreciated Jolene and Tony for respecting our privacy.
