"Perfect for our visit. In the area for a wedding and it really filled the bill for my wife, myself, our son and daughter and our young granddaughter. Co-op store across the street. Coffee and bakery 50 feet away. Pub with meal service 500 feet up the lane. Comfortable, large, well equipped, and charming. Will stay again at the next opportunity. Great communication with the owner and easy access to the property. "

"Perfect venue for a cosy week catching up with friends, we had been looking for somewhere large enough for all 10 of us to get together, play board games and have a film night! This was perfect! The dining table accomodated us all, as did the sofa! We also did all our own cooking and found the kitchen to be well equiped, (far more so than some professional kitchens weve used!) Will definitely be keeping this saved for future catch ups!!"

Susan is very communicative and is quick to reply to any queries. Would definitely stay again."

"The cottage has all the facilities you might need, and the Welcome Box of goodies was a nice touch. The heating came on morning and evening and warmed the cottage very well. We didn't need to use the log fire. The Spar shop, located a minute's walk away, was very useful. I can recommend this accommodation to anyone thinking about a holiday to short break in Dorset. "

"As a family of three, plus our four legged friend, we really loved staying in this delightful cottage in rural Dorset. Equipped with everything you could possibly need, and more - including lots of great games, puzzles, books, blue-tooth speaker, etc. The view from the kitchen is stunning and we loved all the Christmas decorations and fairy lights. Cosy and characterful this was the perfect place to base ourselves over the Christmas break. For getting out and about - there are some nice country...

"Lovely place to stay as a central base in Dorset, clean and well-appointed with clear instructions for optimum use of the cottage and area. Granted we stayed in February but I'd take some slippers next time as the floor is cold but the water was hot, shower was great and bed was very comfy. No communication with hosts whilst we were there but we didn't intitiate as we were out all day but I'm sure they'd be quick to respond to any issues as communication prior to this was very easy.
