Great place for a getaway break
A lovely guest house in a beautiful picture postcard village on the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors. Very friendly and helpful owners. I had one of the spacious outhouse rooms with my own front door straight from the car park which was great. Delicious freshly cooked breakfast.

Amazing room with four poster bed and bath looking over garden. Stunning view over brook at sunrise. Tea tray, fresh bottled water, biscuits and hand made chocolates in room. Lovely soft bedding and towels with extra toiletries for guests (make up remover, cotton buds, etc) Generous breakfast including juices, cereals, yoghurts, full English which was delicious.

Great Stay!
Great stay, good location for exploring the moors and coast. Lesley and Stuart are both very attentive and provided a lovely breakfast each morning. The chocolates in the room were also a lovely touch. The room was very clean and comfortable and the owners have done everything they can to make it Covid safe.

Excellent stay.
This was our second stay at Burnley House and it won't be our last.Lovely room,spot on breakfast and fantastic hosts.Our only suggestion would be having a plug in fan in the rooms.It was so hot at night we bought one after the first night.

Delightful Stay
Nothing was too much trouble. The hosts are fantastic, the breakfast was beautifully cooked and the room was lovely. Hate giving good reveiws in case we have trouble getting back in at our preferred places - but this was outstanding!
