Lovely hotel less than 10 minutes walk from the heart of York. Staff were super helpful and accommodating. Room was a good size with a huge bed. Room was really well presented with bath robes,complementary snacks at good quality coffee and hot chocolate. The only fault with this hotel was the noise in the rooms from the common areas and squeaky floors but it was liveable. Would stay again in a heart beat.

Lovely hotel just a short walk away from shops and restaurants. Nice bar area with good choice of cocktails and wine. Friendly helpful staff. Would definitely stay again

Lovely buildings. Room very good (I think we were upgraded Cus it was huge)2 comfy armchairs. Big bed with great linen. Nice extra touches like a little pouch of sleep essentials and white linen toiletries. Bathroom could do with a deep clean but apart from that excellent facilities. Would stay again

Smaller than average room for a four star hotel, room was clean enough but breakfast area windows full of cobwebs, dead flies etc. £11.75 for an average size glass of wine is ridiculous and although able to park I can imagine being problematic for many guests. Breakfast was good quality and in the main the staff were friendly.

My wife and I chose Middetons Hotel for its location and were delighted with our choice. The room was clean, the staff were delightful and it was easy to walk into York to explore the city. We have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.

Middletons hotel is in a great central location, it has beautiful ground and is very quiet and peaceful . We stayed in a double standard room which was a little small as was the bathroom but i would definitely stay there again.

Great location to explore York
We had a lovely stay here, great location for exploring York not too far from any of the sights and has its own car park. Staff were friendly and rooms were comfortable, nice breakfast.
