"We had a great time at this property. The five properties gave us space to be together and still have our own space to retreat to when needed. It was a very wet weekend in Wales but we made the most of it. The Pool and Grove cottages and The Gallery were a bit tricky to keep warm as you needed to keep the log burners going and use electric heaters upstairs. "I loved my time at the yurt, it was such a peaceful and restorative environment! Louise and Anthony were amazing hosts, very responsive with communication and made me feel welcome and comfortable. The beautiful scenery and lovely walks were just what I needed, and Bow Street was a great home-base for me as I did not need a car and could walk to the village for groceries and take the bus or train to surrounding areas. I would absolutely stay here again!"

"The Gwesty’r Marine Hotel is part of an older Victorian Era district. It shows its age at times, but the overall experience is outstanding. The people are very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable except that it got pretty hot on the one really sunny day we had (which was unusual for November). If you are expecting a modern hotel with all the newest amenities, you will find more issues. If you want a great place to stay, within walking distance of the city center, and don’t mind some historical ambience, you will not be disappointed. The restaurant also has great choices for dinner."

Great value

"Swift and easy check-in. The family room had two bedrooms which was a very pleasant surprise. Everything was spotlessly clean and the beds were very comfortable. Could have done with a rubber bath mat but found out later we could have asked for one. Similarly de-caff tea and coffee I guess. We had our 4-year-old granddaughter with us but there were no issues with noise from the bar below. Limited menu but food was very good. Steaks were lovely. Nice pint too. Great breakfast. Excellent service from friendly, attentive, courteous and efficient staff. Would stay again."
