"Quiet, comfortable stay on a farm that was just outside of Vik and close to Dyrholaey and Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach. There are 5 rooms with a shared kitchen, sitting area and 2 bathrooms. The bathrooms were modern and spacious, and even though they were 'shared,' there was always at least one open whenever needed. The other guests were quiet and considerate, so we would definitely stay here again."

"No one was there when we arrived but we soon found out that they were over booked and we we put up in a nearby hotel that was of a much poorer quality for the same price. I have read other reviews saying that when they arrived they found out that the hotel was overbooked too so this might be a policy of theirs. Nice enough place otherwise but I would not recommend."

"This was a guesthouse where we were greeted by the owner as we drove up. She showed us our room, which was clean and comfortable. She also made wonderful pancakes for breakfast for everyone, it felt like a family meal. I would recommend to anyone wanting something other than the sterile hotel room experience. "
