"A wonderful property and lovely hosts. Elizabeth and Jean-Christian went out of their way to welcome us. A great selection of maps and tourist information on hand for your days out. The village itself (a very short walk) is tranquil with basic amenities - Bakery, farm shop, bar, restaurant and pharmacy. The house is cosy and very well equipped for your stay. We would heartily recommend to other families. We expect we will visit again!"

"Very French, lovely setting and full of 'antique' toys and charm. A bit of a hike to carry stuff from the car to the property as front gates permanently locked - across the large garden and up stairs. We didn't realise that sheets, quilt cover and towels weren't provided, but fortunately we carry our own lightweight bedding - and Mr Sabatier fetched us towels. Nothing in Angerville-la-Martel, but we were focused on Fecamp and Etretat nearby, so it was fine for 3nights."

"Booked at last minute for a short break with a friend. House had everything we needed for our stay. Owner lives in part of house next door but he keeps himself to himself and left us to it so it isn't an issue. Great location to discover places in the area. Only downside is nothing in walking distance for the evenings so you have to rely on a car but otherwise great."

"I will get negatives out of the way first, the listing says this is a working dairy farm however there is just a few cows and one pig. The grandchildren were looking forward to learning and watching milking etc but there was no opportunity to do this. Also we were told we could use the hot tub and pool when the weather improved however both were not ready for use in the 2 weeks we were there. The place is very damp. Even on a nice day the bedroom windows were pouring moisture every morning. Duvet covers too small for the duvet so all crumpled up and had to discard.
