"Die Unterkunft ist absolut empfehlenswert, Gastgeberin Heike und ihre Familie hilfsbereit und freundlich. Eine Ferienwohnung mit einer Menge Platz, schönen hellen Wohnräumen und einer gut ausgestatteten Küche. Bei Fragen waren die Gastgeber immer ansprechbar und mit gutem Rat zur Stelle. Wir hatten Fahrräder dabei und fanden hier eine hervorragende Ausgangslage zu zahlreichen Zielen im schönen Bayrischen Wald vor. Mit der Betreuung vor Ort waren wir sehr zufrieden und insgesamt würden wir auf jeden Fall wiederkommen, denn die Natur und die unendlichen Möglichkeiten der aktiven Erholung, sowie die Menschen der Region, haben uns sehr beeindruckt. "I can only speak for the room we stayed in (room 2), and I would not recommend this place to anyone. Additional cost cost on arrival for parking (about 15 euro per day - which I think is a lot). The host was not very flexible with payments and we had to leave to go and get the money before getting access to the room. The room smelled horrendously of mould and damp. We felt sick being in there and even with the windows wide open the smell was horrible. The room was freezing (colder than outside) and we asked the host if it was possible to turn the radiators on but was told it was the warm season and it would be an extra cost for some warmth. We felt we could not be in the room as it was so unpleasant. We did not address this with the host as we felt that previous conversations had not gone too well and after reading other reviews we felt it was pointless. Additionally, the fridge, kettle and glasses were stored in the bathroom with a really unsafe electrical setup. Towels were still damp/wet on arrival and did not dry in the cold damp room thought the entire stay. This is the worst room we've stayed in during our 3 months in Europe and I think this place is a health hazard. Unfortunately not recommending. "
