"We chose this as a mid spot to access San Sebatian and Bilbao which it was good for. Lots of space but there was no wifi which came as quite a surprise. You really need a car to get anything or go anywhere. The train is right there but very long rides. Lots of windows but had to have all the blinds shut for privacy. Kitchen was missing a few important things but host was quick to help."

"Miguel was super nice to meet us at the villa for check in. He explained how to use everything in the house and even talked to the private chef we booked for a house dinner one night, which was really helpful. "We loved the old school building renovated with an eye for detail and all modern comfort. The location is great, half an hour's walk from the beach. Lekeitio is a pleasant town. A wonderful base to get to know the Basque nature and culture. Anne and Kerman are very hospitable and were always available if necessary. "Apartment was very small & compact but had everything you need for a week’s stay, and was exceptionally clean. Beds were comfortable and the pillows were the best we’ve ever had at a rental place. Only negative things were no air conditioning. One fan was broken & the other did not help with the humidity in the building. "We met the owner at a nearby hotel since the short drive up to the house would have been difficult to find.
