"Really dated rooms facing the sun with no air con or breeze making our stay sweaty. ( in a heat wave)
We left after a few hours as our van was more comfortable.
Also no lounge, more suited for geriatrics birthdays and dances."
"Very dated hotel. Hardly maintained building - from balcony views over flat roofs with plastic coverings.
Additional charge for the sauna was excessive and unexpected. "
"Had overnight stay after ferry. Rooms like a UK budget hotel. Rest of hotel clean and well presented. Staff really friendly and helpful. Would recommend for overnight stay"
"A really nice hotel , well away from the bustle of Lubek [so no walking in to town] offering excellent service but quite pricey ! A good place for a relaxing break or stopover [as we were] on your European road trip to or from Denmark. Surrounded by corn fields and gardens . Oh - I nearly forgot , they can’t spell Potato ! "
"The room was large, clean and comfortable. The staff was incredibly helpful and recommended an amazing restaurant down the street for dinner. Would certainly stay again. "
"Close to town and family run by the looks of it. My toilet had some issues, but other than that it was a fine place to stay when most of the time is spent out sightseeing. The view from the room looked into the lake and that was beautiful! "
"For a property that is almost 300 years old... it is clean, well maintained. But the team running the place make all the difference, they make you feel pampered. A small property with a big heart! Thank you all at Hotel Excellent. "

"This hotel is a great modern hotel not far from the city center. The top of the hotel is where you have an amazing breakfast in the morning and excellent dinner options at night while offering a great view from the eighth floor. Staff is great and parking is right there, though expensive. The room is clean and comfortable."

"There are three aspects that make this property absolutely outstanding:
1. The view from the room is simply sensational. Sitting on the balcony taking in the beach and the sea is sublime.
2. The spa. Where do you get three large saunas and a pool? Very enjoyable.
3. The breakfast is top notch. It might feel a bit busy, but once you sit next to the window overlooking there beach, all is forgotten. The buffet offers all the trimmings and the omelette was just right.
