"I like these apartments, they are an easy walk from the station. They are simple but smartly done. The sound proofing on the windows is excellent and if you are in a room at the front of the building you need it. "The property and rooms were very nice, clean and spacious. Breakfast is not available but a ahort ride into town iffers several options for eating. Keep in mind that there is not an elevator and it seems that the rooms are on higher levels. Overall I would recommend staying here as it is secure and a lovely place."

"Overall looks ok. But a little inconvenient that the reception of the hotel is located a block away. Some issues with the unit I stayed, the dishwasher doesn’t work, the remote control of the TV had no battery and the coffee machine wasn’t working properly. The main entrance door is a bit tricky to open. But putting these inconveniences aside, it was a good experience."

Check in was simple. There is a great coffee shop, Coop (grocery), and pizza within walking distance and is very easy to get to from the train station as well. "Everything about this hotel works well. Good location near the city centre but is quiet during the night. Try and get a garden room rather than one facing the street. Breakfast is eye watering in price but it’s nice. Restaurant can do an evening meal but it’s not a great choice."

"Very good stay with very friendly and professional staff and great breakfast. Fantastic location in the historic center. We requested extra duvets as the 2 single ones given were not sufficient, especially in January which the staff gave us without a problem. There is only one liquid soap in the shower which you need to grab to wash hands. Didn’t see any recycling bins but maybe the system is different in Basel. Would return as it’s a great place to stay in this city. "
