Disliked: Cleanliness, property conditions & facilities
First the positive: Location was great - a short drive to town. Management company was professional and responsive. The bottle of wine in the welcome package was a nice surprise. The oversized TV was great.
However, I have to say that for the price we paid, we were expecting better. Visibly dirty carpet throughout the unit -- not consistent with the photos. Moldy shower curtain in master bathroom. Debris in the corner of the bathroom floor. Extensive water stains on the master bedroom ceiling. Cracked floor tile that would move upon stepping in it. Dirty/dusty walls and baseboards throughout especially in the kitchen, including backsplash. On burner on the stove was not working. The inside of the oven was badly in need of cleaning. The back panel of the stove had a layer of grease with dust stuck to it. It clearly hadn't been cleaned in quite a while. The top of the hood was covered in grease.
In one of the bedroom closets, there was a shirt and pair of underwear left behind by a previous guest.
The kitchen supplies were somewhat lacking. Only one mini non-stick frying pan.
The internet equipment was faulty, resulting in intermittent outages. This was not the normal "slow internet" due to high occupancy during the holiday season.
The listing clearly showed an accessible loft, but there was Plexiglass screwed on the ladder with a sign saying "not for guest use". The loft was a selling feature of the condo and it felt like bait and switch to show it in the photos.
