Hosts reserved a parking spot in a garage for us too, which was perfect since we had a rental car. Hosts are informative and did a wonderful job communicating with us. Pretty views from the apartment windows. Location is excellent. "

The views of the town from the well-appointed deck and apartment were among the best I’d ever experienced. Groceries and public transportation are in ready reach and allowed for exploration of the ancient history of the region. Overall, an outstanding experience."

"What a unique place to stay! We were on the way driving from Frankfurt to Luxembourg and stopped there for 1 night. The farm is located approximately 40 min from the center of Luxembourg city in a very rustic beautiful area surrounded by green fields and windmills. The very clean little cottage has two rooms- one with a bunk bed, the second one with a king size bed, bedding was very comfortable. "Auch unser zweiter Aufenthalt in der schönen Ferienwohnung der Fam. Schmitz ließ keine Wünsche offen. Idealer Ausgangspunkt für unsere Motorradtouren nach Luxemburg, Belgien und in die Eifel. In der geräumigen Wohnung, die es am nichts fehlen lässt, muss man sich einfach wohl fühlen und die Gastfreundschaft von Birgit und Michael rundet das Ganze ab. "We thought we were going to stay in Losheim, but instead, our FeWo was in Scheiden, a town 5 km. away. Once we got used to having to drive to Losheim for our groceries, it was OK. The apartment was spacious and we were quite comfortable there. The area was very rural, with bike and walking paths throughout. One could actually see the night sky from the bathroom skylight! It was easy to get to neighboring towns, such as Mettlach and Trier, from where we were. Our hosts were friendly and helpful."

"Great location, great hosts. We very much enjoyed our 3-night stay in Trittenheim. Though compact, the apartment had everything we needed. The breakfast our host Gisela provided was excellent and we enjoyed her company and our meal on the three season porch. There's lots to do in Trittenheim and vicinity and this apartment was an excellent base. Stores, restaurants and the ferry to Bernkastel-Kues are in walking distance and we rented e-bikes at the Eurostrand resort in nearby Leiwen to explore...

"Be careful not to get this one mixed up with the other central hotel in Luxembourg, this one is on Rue Du Kiem in Neudorf (short distance to Kirchberg). Yes, there were a few niggles here and there, but my general feelings about the Central were good. The room was nice and modern, the bed comfortable and the room quiet and a comfortable temperature. We visited in October and all was fine, however the hotel does not have any air conditioning, so in the summer months, things may be different....
