"Apartments state they have a washing machine and tumble drier in the kitchen of the property. They do not. There is a washing machine that you can use within very limited hours on the ground floor of the block but no tumbler. Booked this specifically for this reason mid way through a 3 week holiday to allow us to wash clothing, so disappointed. Property owners seemed confused, stating that they had withdrawn from Hotels.com and then stating that our booking was safe, then refunding us the...

"We arrived in Hallstatt around 3pm and found a parking spot in P1. It takes about 5-10 minutes to walk to the VRBO. There is a shuttle available, but I cannot comment on that. The key was in a lock box beside the VRBO, on the Seeside Café wall. You have to climb stairs to get to your room. Upon walking in, the lake view immediately draws you in! It is breathtaking! "Lovely apartment, we particularly enjoyed the in-built sauna. It would be really useful to have an information pack in the apartment giving details about the surrounding area (ski area, restaurants, things to do) and also to provide instructions on how things work in the flat - we couldn't log on to the WiFi via the QR code and had to contact facilities to get a code, the coffee machine worked once and then refused to play ball, sauna controls were a bit of a mystery, but we got it working."

"The view of the lake was magnificent. The views and heritage homes were wonderful. The amount of day tourists were alarming, and the fact the way they behaved. As for the room itself, it was great. My only two issues were that the shower could not be properly adjusted and would always spray out onto the floor. And it was very hot without air conditioning. A fan was provided which helped a little. "

"Nice hotel right by Grundlsee Lake, offering an amazing view. I had a room with a balcony directly facing the lake—it was stunning. The breakfast buffet was great and had a lot of variety. There’s a bus stop right next to the hotel. I’ll definitely come again to enjoy a different view in the summer!"
