"Although it wasn't the easiest finding this hotel outside of the limited zone area, otherwise, the stay was perfection. The room was lovely and the staff was friendly and professional. Giancarlo was very welcoming and very helpful with setting up transportation for us to explore towns outside of Pozzallo. In Pozzallo this B&B is within walking distance of the sites - about 20-30 minutes. Which is something the locals do. It is called una passeggiata along the Via Vittorio Veneto.
The price is good and the B&B is near some restaurants. Though keep in mind that in Italy places close midday because it is too hot in the summer. They reopen in the evening.
Breakfast was very good every morning. There's hard boiled eggs, cereal, fruit, and your choice of 5-6 different flavored croissants (your order is taken the day before.)
The beach is right across the street. I only wish we knew we had to bring our own beach towels, but when we asked the hotel provided some.

"We had a lovely stay at the Relais Antica Badia. The team were just fantastic in keeping us comfortable throughout our stay. The breakfast was amazing and the little daily cakes and evening chocolates made it special. They even did a small breakfast birthday cake for my wife. The hotel location is good with lots of nice restaurants within a 5 minute walk. The location is also good for accessing Ragusa Ibla via the steps. The local bus station to Modica and Scicli is also an easy walk. We thoroughly recommend a stay here and would certainly stay again. "
