This hotel was centrally located, the lobby area and Steve were very accommodating, and the bar and restaurant areas great! As it’s typical of European hotels, once you get upstairs, the hallways were narrow and uninviting, and the rooms were very small. Most of our complaints centered around the bathroom. The hand soap and the shower soap were in squeezable containers, with zero instructions. So it took us a while to figure out that the containers were appliable plastic and you had to really squeeze them in order for the soap to come down. A simple note or a diagram would have been appreciated. There were no washcloths and the towels were limited. The shower was in the tub and there was a plexiglass panel covering half the tub, the tub was very high and you had limited space in order to sit on the edge and then swing your legs over. So if you’re a little older and not as agile as you used to be, this may create a problem.
There were no outlets on either bedside table, one was provided on the desk and the other in the bathroom. USB would have been welcomed.
We only joined in the casual restaurant and in the lounge area. The lounge was very busy each evening and there seem to be only one server so it took a while. The breakfast were good and depending on which day you were there, you were either welcomed cheerfully and helpfully or a bit surely. The big plus is how close they are to all transportation, especially the main train station. There were many shops and restaurants
