Loved the lake and surrounding area. It was so serene. Breakfast was included and was amazing. It was cozy detached cabana type of room. Friendly staff.

This was a stunning end to my stay in Sri Lanka. Staff couldn’t do enough for you and general manager was around and introduced himself during breakfast. Cocktails and food was great. Breakfast was excellent. So many choices and nothing too much trouble. I can see it may be an issue in high season, but in October there was enough sunloungers at the pool and beach for everyone. Water supplied in room and on the beach/pool areas. WiFi was fast and reliable. Hotel offered turn down service which was a nice touch. Tip try the King Colada! Thank you Banisha for being so friendly and welcoming! <3

Absolutely a superb experience! Such friendly staff, helpful at all times. Lovely to have a “private” beach and combine relaxation with experiences arranged by a knowledgeable staff.

Stylish and well maintained. Helpful and friendly staff. Not much in the immediate area outside the hotel.

We had an amazing 2 day stay. Place was gorgeous, with 5 star rooms and service. Food was also great with more options than you could think of. If you’re looking for extra activities, there is a spa and a list of water activities to do at the beach or on the river. Definitely recommend
