Hanoi old quarter is very busy! Coming from America it will take time to get use to the city chaos. This hotel is a bit run down. Slow drain , need updates soon? Still functioning, I would give a two stars hotel.

Love this hotel! This is my second time in Hoi An and my second time at Lasenta Boutique. I would not want to stay anywhere else! The location is perfect! It’s quiet and the rooms are beautiful, CLEAN, SPACIOUS and the amenities are the best. The decor and style is more western than the typical Vietnamese hotels. The staff are very accommodating. The free shuttle to and from Old Quarter is very convenient! The breakfast buffet is a huge bonus. I love love their French baguettes!!! The different rotation of noodle soups are delicious. They have many options for vegetarians and non-vegetarians, Asians and non-Asians just pretty much a little for everyone. Book this hotel if you have a chance. You will not regret it!

We had an amazing experience with Sherwood during our visit for a wedding at the Mai House Hotel across the street. The service and accommodation were worthy of a 4-star hotel. The staff was extremely attentive and helpful, and we had a 3-bedroom Premier Unit that was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was handy and of course the washer and dryer was much appreciated. You just need to bring your own soap. There is supermarket across the street and it is central to local food and attractions. We readily and easily used GRAB for transport and food delivery. Highly recommend Sherwood Residence and will be back.

Breakfast buffet is of low quality. Property is OLD and in serious need of renovation. Great location for new visitors to Saigon, but in no world can this property be remotely considered 5-star. Expedia needs to look at that star rating that is deceptive and borderline fraud.
